SyVento BioTech has joined a group of leading organizations from industry, academia, technology, and critical infrastructure sectors in launching the DefenceTech Cluster / Horizon of Security initiative (Horyzont Bezpieczeństwa). The project aims to strengthen Poland’s technological resilience, strategic autonomy, and innovation capabilities through cross-sector collaboration.

The initiative was presented during the Horizon of Security Congress in Kielce, a high-level event bringing together representatives of government institutions, research organizations, industry leaders, and technology experts to discuss the future of security, resilience, and innovation in an increasingly complex geopolitical environment.

SyVento BioTech was represented by Tomasz Piec, who participated in discussions focused on building long-term resilience through cooperation between science, industry, and public institutions.

Building Resilience Through Collaboration

The DefenceTech Cluster is designed as a platform connecting organizations that contribute to national security and strategic resilience. Founding partners include organizations such as the Polish Armaments Group (PGZ), IBM Poland, ENEA, AGH University of Krakow, Kielce University of Technology, Starachowice Special Economic Zone, INFOVER, CELiUS, ELIBERTOON, MOSTOSTAL Kielce, and SyVento BioTech.

The initiative seeks to foster collaboration in areas including:
